FIRST Robotics Competition, Programming Sub-team

Team 5409  •  Garth Webb Secondary School, Oakville, ON

  • Wrote sophisticated Java code controlling diverse robot subsystems: Limelight vision cameras, pneumatic solenoids, RoboRio motor controllers, and autonomous routines.
  • Collaborated with seven other developers under the mentorship of engineers with decades of industry experience, following real-world Agile-style iteration cycles.
  • Team qualified for and competed at the FIRST Robotics World Championships in Houston, TX, placing among the top 18% of teams worldwide.
